Food donations come from Daily Bread Food Bank, local food drives, member churches and our sponsors, but we purchase over half of the food we distribute with funds donated by the local community.

Churches-On-The-Hill Food Bank is 100% Volunteer Supported.
We are a volunteer team of individuals contributing our time and talent. No one is compensated in any way. We are united in our desire to give back and help our local community.
Volunteers work at the Food Bank in a variety of roles, including:
- Preparing shelf-stable food and prepacking fresh food and vegetables for distribution.
- Checking in clients and taking bags of food to clients waiting in line outside our Food Bank.
- Assisting with unloading food deliveries and restocking pantry shelves.
Commitment & Qualifications
- Volunteers must be willing to work as part of a team, and commit to working a minimum of three hours every two weeks.
- Qualifications for each job vary and may include having the physical capacity to carry baskets of groceries. The minimum age for volunteers is 15.
