for our new clients:

All new clients should contact the Daily Bread Food Bank to register all family members, obtain their client number and then find their nearest food bank. COTH Food Bank clients must live in the area stretching from Davenport Rd north to Lawrence Ave and from Oakwood Ave east to Bayview Ave.

Please call and obtain your client number prior to your first visit, as we will be unable to serve you without proper registration.

To do so, follow the steps below:

  1. To register directly with Daily Bread Food Bank and get your client number:
  2. Find your closest Daily Bread Food Bank location.
  3. Go to the nearest location and make sure to have your Daily Bread client number handy.

your first visit

At your first visit to the COTH Food Bank, you will be asked for the following information:

  • Client Number
  • Identification (Driver’s License or Health Card, or Passport or Visa) for all household members using the services of the Food Bank
  • Proof of address (OW or ODSP cheque record, rental agreement) and phone number.

After which, COTH Food Bank will create a client card and provide it to you on your next visit. This card will enable you to access Food Bank services for as long as you need them. 

for registered clients:

The COTH Food Bank is open to serve clients on:

  • Mondays from 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m., and;
  • Wednesday mornings from 10:30 a.m. – 12.30 p.m.

Churches On-The-Hill Food Bank is a Daily Bread member food bank located at:

  • 230 St Clair Ave in the basement of Timothy Eaton Memorial Church.

All service is provided outside, so we strongly urge that clients to dress for local weather conditions.
